Goffs UK's Autumn Sale takes place on Thursday at the firm's Doncaster headquarters. The sale has a new look this year, with the heavily restructured sale schedule meaning that the Silver Yearling Sale has been added to the traditional horses in training and autumn yearlings fixture.
A total of 308 horses are catalogued, with both flat and National Hunt horses in training comprising the first 195 lots. Lots 196 to 254 will be the Silver yearlings, followed by lots 255 to 308, the Autumn yearlings.
“This year hosts a different format compared to the traditional Autumn Sale with a notable addition, the Silver Yearling Sale, and a significant absence in the full Point-to-Point/Form Horse Session,” said Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent when the catalogue was released. “The inclusion of the Silver Sale will give buyers access to more commercial yearlings and both yearling sales have proven their ability to produce Group 1 horses with the likes of Quiet Reflection and Mabs Cross coming from their ranks.”
The November P2P Sale has been moved to Nov. 11 at Yorton Farm Stud.
